- The BPost Bank Trophy 2012-2013 began on October 14 with the GP Mario De Clercq and finished on February 24 in Oostmalle. The men's elite competition was won by the Belgian Niels Albert while the women's elite was won by Sanne Cant, also of Belgium. The bank of the Belgian Post Group took over the sponsorship of this event, formerly known as Gazet van Antwerpen trofee. Since this season, the ranking is no longer decided by points classification, but by time difference. This is a method well known from road racing. All riders that do not start in a race, do not finish the race or finish more than 5 minutes behind the winner receive 5 minutes delay on the winner in the ranking and are still in the race for the overall title. Time bonuses can be earned: during each race there is a sprint in which the first three riders gain 15, 10 and 5 seconds respectively. The same time bonuses are given at the finish. (en)
- Le Trophée Banque Bpost 2012-2013 est la 26e édition du Trophée Banque Bpost (anciennement Trophée Gazet van Antwerpen) mais la première sous cette appellation. En effet cette compétition de cyclo-cross était organisée par le quotidien belge néerlandophone Gazet van Antwerpen jusqu'à la précédente édition. Il est composé de huit manches pour les hommes élites et espoirs, six pour les femmes et quatre pour les juniors, toutes ayant lieu en Belgique entre le 14 octobre 2012 et le 24 février 2013. Toutes les courses élites et femmes font partie du calendrier de la saison de cyclo-cross masculine et féminine 2012-2013. Pour la première fois, l'ensemble des résultats obtenus lors des courses des élites hommes donne lieu à un classement général au temps et non par points comme avant. Pour les femmes et les espoirs le format du classement général par points ne change pas par rapport aux autres années. Les juniors, quant à eux, n'ont pas de classement officiel. (fr)

- De Bpost bank trofee 2012-2013 begon op 14 oktober met de GP Mario De Clercq en eindigt op 24 februari met de Internationale Sluitingsprijs. De bpost bank heeft de sponsoring van dit evenement, dat voorheen bekendstond als de Gazet van Antwerpen trofee, overgenomen. Het klassement wordt sinds dit jaar niet meer opgemaakt door het geven van punten, maar door tijdsverschillen, een methode die bekend is uit het wegwielrennen. Alle renners die niet starten, de wedstrijd niet uitrijden of op meer dan vijf minuten achterstand eindigen krijgen reglementair een achterstand van vijf minuten op de winnaar toegeschreven en doen dus nog steeds meer voor het klassement. Ook zijn er bonificatieseconden te verdienen, er is onderweg één tussensprint waarbij de eerste drie renners respectievelijk 15, 10 en 5 seconden winnen en diezelfde bonussen worden ook op de streep vergeven.
