- The 2000 Africa Cup (officially called at those time "Africa Top Six") was the first edition of highest level rugby union tournament in Africa. Only five teams were involved due to the withdrawal of the Ivory Coast. South Africa participated with an Under-23 amateurs team. The teams were divided in two pool played on home away basis. (en)

- L'Africa Cup 2000, ufficialmente Africa Top 6 2000 (in inglese 2000 Africa Top Six), fu il 1º campionato africano di rugby a 15. Organizzato dalla Confédération africaine de rugby con il supporto dell'International Rugby Board, la 1ª edizione della competizione fu introdotta con l'obbiettivo di diffondere la disciplina sportiva ed accrescerne il suo sviluppo all'interno del continente africano. Ad aggiudicarsi l'edizione inaugurale torneo fu la formazione del Sudafrica Under-23, selezione in rappresentanza della Federazione sudafricana, che superò in finale a Casablanca il Marocco per 14-44. - Puchar Afryki 2000 – pierwsza edycja Pucharu Afryki, oficjalnych międzynarodowych zawodów rugby union o randze mistrzostw kontynentu organizowanych przez CAR mających na celu wyłonienie najlepszej męskiej reprezentacji narodowej w tej dyscyplinie sportu w Afryce. W walce o tytuł mistrzowski brało udział pięć zespołów. Mecze zostały rozegrane w okresie od 17 czerwca–16 grudnia 2000 roku. (pl)
