- The 25th national football championship in Vietnam known locally as the Vietnam National A1 Football Cup was played from March 1981 until April 1982. 17 clubs participated in this edition, including top 14 teams of the previous season, 2 newly-promoted teams and Thể Công (Câu lạc bộ Quân đội) returned after the absence in 1980 due to internal reasons. 17 teams took part in the competition that was played in two stages; a Group Stage featuring 2 groups of 9 and 8 teams and a Championship stage featuring the top three from each group. Two teams would be relegated, one from each group (en)
- La saison 1981-1982 du Championnat du Viêt Nam de football est la deuxième édition du championnat de première division au Viêt Nam. Dix-sept clubs s'affrontent lors d'une édition disputée à échelle nationale. Les équipes sont réparties en deux groupes, qui voit les trois premiers se qualifier pour la poule pour le titre et le dernier être relégué en deuxième division. C'est un club promu de deuxième division, Câu Lac Bô Quân Dôi, qui s'impose cette saison après avoir terminé en tête du classement de la poule finale, devant et Công An Hà Nội. C'est le tout premier titre de champion de Viêt Nam de l'histoire du club. (fr)
- V.League 1 (1981/1982) – 2. edycja najwyższej piłkarskiej klasy rozgrywkowej w Wietnamie. W rozgrywkach wzięło udział 17 drużyn, grając systemem mieszanym. Sezon rozpoczął się 8 marca 1981, a zakończył 4 kwietnia 1982 roku. Tytułu nie obroniła drużyna . Nowym mistrzem Wietnamu został zespół Câu Lạc Bộ Quân Đội. Tytuł króla strzelców zdobył , który w barwach klubu strzelił 15 bramek. Rozgrywki toczyły się w dwóch rundach. W pierwszej rundzie zespoły były podzielone na dwie grupy. Po 3 najlepsze zespoły awansowały do drugiej rundy rozgrywek, natomiast zespoły z ostatnich miejsc spadły z V.League 1. W drugiej rundzie rywalizowało 6 drużyn, z których najlepsza została mistrzem Wietnamu. (pl)
