- الدوري السعودي الممتاز 1981–1982 هي النسخة السادسة من الدوري السعودي الممتاز. تم دمج كل من الدوري السعودي الممتاز ودوري الدرجة الأولى بسبب كثرة المباريات على المنتخب الوطني حيث كان يخوض تصفيات كأس العالم 1982 ويسمى بالدوري المشترك. شارك بهذه النسخة عشرين نادي ولعبت بنظام المربع الذهبي، وظفر الاتحاد بلقب البطولة للمرة الأولى بتاريخه . شهد هذا الموسم هبوط عشرة أندية وهي كالتالي:

- The 1981–82 season saw the merge of both the Saudi Premier League and the Saudi First Division of concern for the 1982 FIFA World Cup qualification process. Twenty teams were divided onto two groups, A and B. The top two in each group would enter a semi-final phase to determine the overall champions. The top five from each group would also create the makeup for the next season's Premier League ten. The bottom five on the other hand would be entered into the Saudi First Division. (en)
- La saison 1981-1982 du Championnat d'Arabie saoudite de football est la sixième édition du championnat de première division en Arabie saoudite. Exceptionnellement cette saison, le championnat regroupe les 10 clubs de Premier League et les 10 clubs de First Division, la deuxième division saoudienne. Les vingt équipes sont réparties en deux poules où elles s'affrontent deux fois au cours de la saison, à domicile et à l'extérieur. À la fin de cette phase, seuls les cinq premiers de chaque poule se maintiennent en première division et les deux premiers jouent la phase finale pour le titre. C'est le club d'Al Ittihad qui remporte le championnat en battant lors de la finale le club d'Al Shabab Riyad. C'est le tout premier titre de champion d'Arabie saoudite de l'histoire du club. (fr)
