- دوري أندية العراق للدرجة الأولى 1980–81 هي الموسم السابع من الدوري العراقي الممتاز منذ تأسيسه عام 1974. كان الدوري مقررا ان يكون على مرحلتين ومثبت فيه تواريخ مباريات المرحلتين ولكن بسبب الحرب العراقية الايرانية الغيت مباريات المرحلة الثانية وغيرت مواعيد مباريات المرحلة الأولى. لتحديد بطل الدوري لهذا الموسم في حالة تعادل فريقين بالنقاط وفارق الأهداف اعتمد الاتحاد العراقي على عدد مباريات الفوز وبالتالي توج الطلبة باللقب الدوري للمرة الأولى وكان الشرطة هو الوصيف. - The 1980–81 Iraqi National Clubs First Division was the 7th season of the competition since its foundation in 1974. The competition was originally meant to be held in a double round-robin format, but was later changed to a single round-robin tournament due to the Iran–Iraq War. Al-Talaba won the league title for the first time in their history. Holders Al-Shorta defeated Al-Zawraa 3–0 on the final day of the season on 19 May to move on equal points and equal goal difference with Al-Talaba. Although Al-Shorta had scored two more goals than Al-Talaba, the Iraq Football Association decided that teams who were equal on points and goal difference would be separated by number of wins and therefore Al-Talaba were crowned champions. - La saison 1980-1981 du Championnat d'Irak de football est la septième édition de la première division en Irak, l' Iraqi Premier League. Elle regroupe, sous forme d'une poule unique, les douze meilleures équipes du pays qui se rencontrent une seule fois. En fin de saison, le dernier du classement est relégué et remplacé par le meilleur club de Second League. C'est le club de Talaba SC qui remporte le championnat cette saison après avoir terminé en tête du classement final, à égalité de points mais avec un plus grand nombre de victoires que le tenant du titre, Al Shorta Bagdad. Al Tayaran Bagdad complète le podium à un point du duo de tête. C'est le tout premier titre de champion d'Irak de l'histoire du club. (fr)
