- The 1963 Football Championship of Ukrainian SSR (Class B) was the 33rd season of association football competition of the Ukrainian SSR, which was part of the . It was the thirteenth in the . The 1963 Football Championship of Ukrainian SSR (Class B) was won by SKA Odessa. There was reorganization of professional football competitions with Class A being expanded by adding extra tier and all Class B competitions including in Ukraine were moved to the third tier. Due to reorganization 35 out of 39 teams were relegated to lower tier by continuing to compete in the Ukrainian Class B competitions. (en)
- Чемпіон УРСР 1963 року визначався серед українських команд майстрів класу «Б» чемпіонату СРСР. Відповідно у чемпіонаті не брали участь найсильніші українські команди «Динамо» Київ, «Авангард» Харків та «Шахтар» Донецьк, які брали участь у найвищому дивізіоні СРСР, а також луганські «Трудові резерви», одеський «Чорноморець», запорізький «Металург», львівські «Карпати» та дніпропетровське «Дніпро», що грали у новоствореному другому загальнорадянському дивізіоні. Всього у чемпіонаті УРСР взяло участь 40 команд, що були розбиті на дві групи по 20 команд. Переможець кожної з груп виходив до фіналу, де у двоматчевому протистоянні розігрувалося звання чемпіона УРСР. Інші команди, що займали однакові місця в різних групах, також у стикових матчах розігрували фінальні місця чемпіонату. (uk)
