The 1919 Detroit Titans football team was an American football team that represented the University of Detroit as an independent during the 1919 college football season. Detroit shut out five of its nine opponents, outscored all opponents by a combined total of 257 to 30, and finished with an 8–1 record. In an effort to place the Titans "on the national college football map", the school scheduled three games for 1919 against "three important teams from the east"—Georgetown, Tufts, and Holy Cross. The Titans won two of those three games.
