Martin Johannes Sebastian Isepp (30 September 1930 – 25 December 2011) was an Austrian‐born British pianist, harpsichordist, conductor and teacher. He had an international career, and worked with leading singers for several decades. Among those with whom he performed were Janet Baker, Hugues Cuénod, Hans Hotter and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf. For more than forty years he was associated with Glyndebourne Festival Opera, and he held posts in opera houses and music academies in Britain, continental Europe and North America. Su madre era la cantante Helene Hammerschlag, profesora de canto y maestra de Janet Baker y Heather Harper y su padre, el pintor y restaurador​ (1884-1954). Nacido en Viena, su madre era judía y la familia emigró a Londres con el advenimiento de los nazis al poder​Se educó en Oxford y en el Royal College of Music debutando en la English Opera Tour.Su carrera comenzó en 1957 en el Festival de Glyndebourne donde sería una de sus figuras indispensables hasta 1993.
