- Ο Παύλος Μαρία Βοναπάρτης (19 Φεβρουαρίου 1809 Κανίνο, Ιταλία – 7 Σεπτεμβρίου 1827 Ναύπλιο), ήταν πρίγκιπας της Οικογένειας Βοναπάρτη, ανιψιός του Μεγάλου Ναπολέοντα. Υπήρξε φιλέλληνας και έλαβε μέρος στον πόλεμο της Ανεξαρτησίας της Ελλάδας. (el)
- Prince Paul Marie Bonaparte (19 February 1809 in Canino – 7 September 1827 in Nafplio) fought in the Greek War of Independence. Paul Marie Bonaparte was the third child of Lucien Bonaparte and Alexandrine de Bleschamp. He studied at the University of Bologna. In March 1827 he secretly left the city, and under an assumed name, went to Greece to take part in the Greek War of Independence. Arriving first at the Ionian Islands, Bonaparte was welcomed on 24 August at Poros by the British Admiral Cochrane, who was entrusted with command of the Greek fleet. Bonaparte served on the flagship frigate Hellas, which after a series of unsuccessful operations stood off in the strait of the island Spetses. On 6 September 1827, on board the Hellas, Bonaparte was mortally wounded while cleaning his own gun and died the day after. After the end of the war in 1832, Bonaparte was buried in a mausoleum on the island of Sphacteria, close to the French sailors who fell in the Battle of Navarino. (en)

- Paweł Maria Bonaparte, Paul-Marie Bonaparte (ur. 19 lutego 1809, Canino, 6 września 1827, Nauplia) – książę, trzecie z kolei dziecko Lucjana Bonapartego i jego małżonki Aleksandryny, bratanek Napoleona. Paweł studiował na uniwersytecie w Bolonii. W marcu 1827 roku opuścił miasto w tajemnicy przed rodzicami i wsiadł w Ankonie pod fałszywym nazwiskiem na statek jadący do Grecji, by wziąć udział w walce niepodległościowej Hellenów. Przyjęty serdecznie przez angielskiego admirała Cochrane’a na statku L’Hellade, Paul-Marie wyjechał z Paros w kierunku południowym. We wrześniu tegoż roku, w czasie pobytu statku w zatoce w Nauplion książę Paweł postrzelił się ze śmiertelnym skutkiem, czyszcząc swój pistolet. Po zakończeniu wojny grecko-tureckiej (1832) zabalsamowane zwłoki pochowano w mauzoleum wzniesionym na szczycie najwyższego wzgórza wyspy . W czasie pobytu we Włoszech, prawdopodobnie miał romans z Polką, Zofią Kossowską, która później urodziła jego syna. (pl)

Hij nam in 1827 aan de Griekse Onafhankelijkheidsoorlog deel, waar hij als ondercommandant van Thomas Cochrane op het fregat Hellas grote moed toonde. Toen Cochrane in december 1827 in de haven van Nauplion twee Turkse schepen wilde aanvallen, snelde Paul Marie naar zijn kajuit om een wapen te halen. Daarbij schoot hij zichzelf per ongeluk dood.
