- Motu Iti o (en español: Pequeña isla) es un pequeño islote deshabitado cerca de Motu Nui, a una milla de Rano Kau, en la esquina suroccidental de la Isla de Pascua, una isla chilena en el Océano Pacífico, es el segundo islote de mayor tamaño con 1,6 hectáreas o 0,016 km². Hoy en día es un santuario de aves y parte del Parque nacional Rapa Nui, pero hasta el siglo XIX fue importante para el pueblo Rapa Nui, tanto por haber sido su mejor fuente para la elaboración de herramientas afiladas como para la cosecha anual de huevos y pichones de aves marinas que anidaban en él. Motu Nui su islote vecino muy cercano es la cumbre de una montaña volcánica que se eleva a más de 2.000 metros desde el fondo del mar. - Motu Iti, or Little island in the Rapa Nui language, is a small uninhabited islet near Motu Nui, about a mile from Rano Kau on the south western corner of Easter Island, a Chilean island in the Pacific. It has a land area of 1.6 hectares, which makes it the second largest of the five satellite islands of Easter Island, after Motu Nui. Nowadays it is a bird sanctuary and part of the Rapa Nui National Park but until the late nineteenth century CE it was important to the Rapanui people both as their best source of obsidian for sharp edged tools and for an annual harvest of eggs and fledglings from the seabirds that nested on it. Motu Iti is the summit of a large volcanic mountain which rises over 2,000 meters from the sea bed. Seabirds nesting on Motu Iti include the sooty tern. (en)

Ce bout de terre chilienne situé dans l'océan Pacifique, en constitue le deuxième plus grand îlot avec une superficie de 1,6 hectare soit 0,016 km². Aujourd'hui il s'agit d'un sanctuaire d'oiseaux marins, l'île est partie prenante du parc national de Rapa Nui. Jusqu'au XIXe siècle l'île était un lieu important pour le peuple Rapa Nui, car elle constituait à la fois leur meilleure carrière pour le développement d'outils tranchants à base d'obsidienne mais aussi un lieu de premier choix pour la cueillette annuelle des œufs et des oisillons y nichant. Motu Nui, l'îlot voisin est le sommet d'une montagne volcanique qui s'élève à plus de 2 000 mètres du fond de la mer.
