- Der Deutsche Journalisten-Verband (DJV) – Gewerkschaft der Journalistinnen und Journalisten e. V. ist die größte Journalisten-Organisation Europas mit Sitz in Berlin und Bonn. Sie hat mehr als 30.000 Mitglieder. Bundesvorsitzender ist seit 2015 der Journalist Frank Überall, stellvertretende Bundesvorsitzende sind seit 2021 die freie Journalistin Anne Webert und Reporterchef Mika Beuster, Schatzmeisterin ist die freie Journalistin Katrin Kroemer. Die Geschäfte des Bundesverbands führt Michael Hirschler. Von 2003 bis 2015 war Michael Konken Vorsitzender des Verbandes. In den Jahren zuvor waren Siegfried Weischenberg (1999–2001), Rolf Lautenbach (2001–2003) und Hermann Meyn von 1989 bis 1998 die Bundesvorsitzende.Der DJV ist Mitglied der Internationalen Journalisten-Föderation (IJF).
