The Chatla Wetland (Chatla) (Bengali: চাতলা হাওর) is a seasonal wetland located in Cachar district, Assam, India. The speciality of Chatla is that during winter season is becomes fully farmland where Rice cultivation is done and after winter from March onward this piece land gets filled up with water and become a lake. Moreover, this (Chatla haor) is the main indigenous tea garden labor during British rule. Especially the states of India whose people came from Kolkata, Bihar, Orissa, from about 1850 to 1860. In particular, the two Bengali dialects were dominated by the Bengali Bengali Rari and Jharkhandi who were prominent among them.
