- The Blue Squadron (Spanish: Escuadrilla Azul, German: 15. Spanische Staffel) was a generic name given to the group of volunteer pilots and ground crews recruited from the Spanish Air Force that fought in the side of Germany on the Eastern Front, during the Second World War. The "Blue Patrol" was a counterpart offered by Franco to Nazi Germany for its help with the Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War. Between September 1941 and May 1943 five Spanish squadrons rotated through the Eastern Front, attached to Luftwaffe fighter wings Jagdgeschwader 27 and Jagdgeschwader 51. Flying Messerschmitt fighters and Focke-Wulf fighter-bombers, the Spaniards were credited with destroying more than 160 Soviet aircraft in nearly two years, while losing 20 pilots killed, missing, or captured. The unit remained in central Russia, despite requests by Muñoz Grandes that they be attached to the Blue Division, until their withdrawal in 1943. (en)
- Se denomina Escuadrilla Azul al grupo de pilotos voluntarios del Ejército del Aire Español que durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial combatieron al lado de la Luftwaffe de la Alemania Nazi en el Frente Ruso como contrapartida a la ayuda de los alemanes con su Legión Cóndor, durante la Guerra Civil Española al bando sublevado. Entre septiembre de 1941 y febrero de 1943 cinco escuadrillas españolas pasaron por el Frente oriental, asignadas a las alas de caza Jagdgeschwader 27 y de la Luftwaffe. Volando los cazas Messerschmitt y los cazabombarderos Focke-Wulf, los pilotos españoles lograron acreditar la destrucción de más de 160 aviones soviéticos en unos dos años, mientras que perdieron 20 pilotos por muerte en combate, desaparecidos o hechos prisioneros. La unidad permaneció en la Rusia central, a pesar de las peticiones de Muñoz Grandes para que fuera agregada a la División Azul, hasta su retirada completa a comienzos de 1944. (es)
- Błękitna Eskadra (niem. 15º Spanische Staffel, hiszp. Escuadrillas Azules) - ochotnicza jednostka lotnicza Luftwaffe złożona z Hiszpanów podczas II wojny światowej Oprócz tzw. Błękitnej Dywizji (w terminologii Wehrmachtu 250 Ochotniczej Dywizji Piechoty) w niemieckich siłach zbrojnych na froncie wschodnim służyli też hiszpańscy lotnicy, zgrupowani w tzw. Błękitnej Eskadrze (w terminologii Luftwaffe 15 Eskadrze Myśliwskiej). Faktycznie było to pięć zmian lotniczych, które działały na zmianę, zastępując jedna drugą. Zgodnie z przyjętym rotacyjnym systemem służby, co kilka miesięcy wymieniany był cały latający personel, a co drugą zmianę również personel naziemny. Każda z eskadr miała własne godło. Niektórzy piloci służyli w dwóch kolejnych eskadrach. (pl)

За ротацією змінюючи одна одну ескадрильї входили до складу 27-ї (нім. Jagdgeschwader 27) і 51-ї (нім.
