- The Ancoratus is a catechetical work by Epiphanius of Salamis that examines some dogmatic themes in light of the heresies of the fourth century. He does not devote much space to developing heretical doctrines or their confutation as in the Panarion, but he explains the Christian dogma from Bible and tradition. This work also includes two professions of faith. One of them composed by Epiphanius himself and the other is the one normally used at that time during the rite of baptism by the church of Salamis. It was later adopted by the Council of Constantinople in 381. (en)
- El Ancoratus es una obra catequética de Epifanio de Salamina que examina algunos temas dogmáticos a la luz de las herejías del siglo IV. No dedica gran espacio a desarrollar las doctrinas heréticas o su confutación como en el , pero explica a partir de la Sagrada Escritura y de la tradición el dogma cristiano con ese trasfondo. Incluye además dos símbolos o profesiones de fe. Una de ellas compuesta por el mismo Epifanio y la otra es la normalmente empleada en aquel entonces durante el rito del bautismo por la iglesia de Salamina. Luego fue adoptada por el Concilio de Constantinopla de 381 y por otras iglesias. (es)
