- An den zwei Steinen ist ein 766,2 m ü. NHN hoher Berg des Idarwaldes (Hunsrück) in den Landkreisen Birkenfeld und Bernkastel-Wittlich in Rheinland-Pfalz. Der bewaldete Berg ist nach dem 15 km südwestlich gelegenen Erbeskopf (816,3 m; mit dessen Nordostsporn Sandkopf, 807,3 m sowie dem Südwestsporn Springenkopf, 784,2 m) im Schwarzwälder Hochwald und vor der 12 km südwestlich liegenden (je Luftlinie) Kahlheid (766 m; auch im Idarwald), der zweithöchste in Rheinland-Pfalz. Sein Gipfel liegt auf der Grenze von Stipshausen im Nordosten, Hottenbach im Ostsüdosten und Hinzerath (zu Morbach) im Nordwesten; Anteil an gipfelnahen Lagen haben auch Hochscheid im Norden und Hellertshausen im Südosten. Südwestlich vorbei am Berg verläuft zwischen Hinzerath und dem nahen Bruchweiler die Landesstraße 159, von der die über seine Südflanke führende Verbindungsstraße von Hinzerath nach Hellertshausen (Kreisstraßen 125 und 56) abzweigt. - An den zwei Steinen is a mountain, 766.2 m above sea level (NHN), in the Idar Forest (part of the Hunsrück mountains) in the counties of Birkenfeld and Bernkastel-Wittlich in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The wooded peak is the second-highest in Rhineland-Palatinate after the Erbeskopf (816.3 m), 15 kilometres to the southwest (with its southwestern spur, the Springenkopf, 784.2 m) in the Schwarzwälder Hochwald, and ahead of the Kahlheid (766.0 m), 12 kilometres southwest, also in the Idar Forest. Its summit lies on the boundary of Stipshausen to the northeast, Hottenbach to the east-southeast and (part of Morbach) to the northwest; other municipalities nearby are: Hochscheid to the north and Hellertshausen to the southeast. The Landesstraße 159 between Hinzerath and nearby Bruchweiler runs past the mountain to the southwest. The road from Hinzerath to Hellertshausen (Kreisstraßen 125 and 56) branches off the L 159 and runs over the southern flank of the mountain. (en)
