Vijay (English: Victory) is a 1988 Indian Hindi romantic action film directed by Yash Chopra. It features an ensemble star cast consisting of Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini, Rishi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Sonam, Anupam Kher in pivotal roles. Anupam Kher won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award for his performance. The plot of the film was inspired by Chopra's previous film Trishul. This was the last action film Yash Chopra directed and the last action film produced under Yash Raj Films for 16 years until Dhoom released in 2004.
