Velp is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the former municipality of Grave, about 2 km southwest of the city. Until 1794, it was part of the , a Catholic enclave of Palatinate-Neuburg within the Dutch Republic.

Velp is een dorp in de gemeente Land van Cuijk in de Nederlandse provincie Noord-Brabant, dat uit twee delen bestaat: Oud-Velp in het noorden en Nieuw-Velp in het zuiden. Oud-Velp ligt aan de Hertogswetering en nabij de uiterwaarden van de Maas. Op 1 januari 2021 telde Velp 1.535 inwoners. Velp is ook een voormalige gemeente in Noord-Brabant die bestond sinds 1810 en 744 ha groot was. In 1938 moest Velp een klein deel aan Grave afstaan, omdat op dit terrein de Generaal de Bonskazerne werd gebouwd. In 1942 werd deze gemeente bij de gemeente Grave gevoegd. (nl)
