| - تل السكن المعروف أيضا باسم تل الرماد، هو الآن تل أثري مدمر بالكامل تقريبًا يقع على بعد حوالي 5 كيلومترات جنوب مدينة غزة في ما يعرف اليوم بقطاع غزة، على الضفة الشمالية لوادي غزة. كان موقعًا لمستوطنتين حضريتين منفصلتين من العصر البرونزي المبكر: أحدهما يمثل المركز الإداري المحصن قائمة للمستعمرات المصرية في جنوب غرب فلسطين منذ نهاية الألفية الرابعة قبل الميلاد، ومدينة محلية كنعانية محصنة لاحقًا في الألفية الثالثة قبل الميلاد. سمح الموقع عند مصب ما كان على الأرجح قناة قديمة للنهر بالتطور كمستوطنة بحرية مهمة مع ميناء طبيعي. منحها موقعها الجغرافي موقعًا مهمًا عند مفترق طرق طرق التجارة البرية بين منطقة كنعان، والمملكة المصرية القديمة. اعتبارًا من عام 2000، كانت التسوية المصرية المبكرة هي أقدم موقع محصن عرفه الباحثون في كل من مصر وفلسطين. - Tell es-Sakan (àrab: تل السكن, Tall as-Sakan), també conegut com Tell ar-Ramad (àrab: تل الرماد, Tall ar-Ramād) és una excavació a Palestina, a 5 km al sud de Gaza. Alguns materials foren descoberts per casualitat el 1998 durant una construcció civil, i s'hi trobà un gran complex que va estar habitat del al . S'hi han trobat objectes predinàstics egipcis. S'han descobert també les muralles, les més antigues d'Egipte i Palestina, i que podrien indicar que, vers el 3000 aC (o fins i tot abans), era un centre administratiu egipci pel sud de Canaan. Fou ocupada vers el per cananeus. Cap al 2300 aC, va quedar abandonada i quan els pastors es van sedentaritzar vers el 1800 aC, es van establir prop d'allí, a , que fou una ciutat pròspera al segon mil·lenni aC. (ca)
- Tell es-Sakan, lit. "Hill of Ash", is a now almost entirely destroyed tell (archaeological mound) standing some 5 km south of Gaza City in what is today the Gaza Strip, on the northern bank of Wadi Ghazzeh. It was the site of two separate Early Bronze Age urban settlements: an earlier one representing the fortified administrative center of the Egyptian colonies in southwestern Palestine from the end of the 4th millennium, and a later, local Canaanite fortified city of the third millennium. The location at the mouth of what was probably a palaeochannel of the river, allowed it to develop as an important maritime settlement with a natural harbour. - Telel Sacã (Tel es-Sakan) foi um importante assentamento marítmo cananeu/egípcio durante a Idade do bronze, situado na foz do Uádi Habesor.
