| - Die City of Paris war ein 1866 in Dienst gestelltes Passagierschiff der britischen Inman Line, das bis 1884 auf der Strecke von Liverpool nach New York im Einsatz stand und anschließend als Frachtschiff für einen französischen Reeder unter dem Namen Tonquin betrieben wurde. Am 4. März 1885 sank die als Truppentransporter vercharterte Tonquin nach einer Kollision vor Málaga, 24 Menschen kamen hierbei ums Leben. (de)

- Le City of Paris est un paquebot britannique de l'Inman Line mis en service en 1866, premier navire de la compagnie à porter ce nom. Durant près de vingt ans, il sert sa compagnie sur l'Atlantique Nord. Ses performances lui permettent d'égaler ses concurrents directs, notamment le Scotia, détenteur du Ruban bleu, et le City of Paris est ainsi le premier navire à hélice à atteindre des vitesses équivalentes à celles des navires à roues à aubes.

- SS City of Paris – statek pasażerski armatora wybudowany w stoczni w Glasgow w roku 1865, który zatonął kolizji w 1885 w okolicach Malagi. Jednostka miała pierwotnie długość 105 m; innowacją był system sterowania z mostku. W 1869 został przedłużony i jego dane były następujące: długość 121 metrów, szerokość 12,3 m i zanurzenie 8 m, pojemność brutto 3031 BRT i netto 1975 NRT. Była trójpokładową, żelazną, parową fregatą, o napędzie śrubowym. Silnik stanowiła pozioma, dwucylindrowa maszyna parowa, także konstrukcji Tod and Macgregor o mocy 550 KM; średnica cylindrów wynosiła 208 i 226 cm, a skok tłoka – 107 cm. Statek miał uniesiony pokład dziobowy na długości 25 m. (pl)
