- Die Verordnung (EG) Nr. 1907/2006 (REACH-Verordnung) ist eine EU-Chemikalienverordnung, die am 1. Juni 2007 in Kraft getreten ist. REACH steht für Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals ‚Registrierung, Bewertung, Zulassung und Beschränkung von Chemikalien‘. Als EU-Verordnung besitzt REACH gleichermaßen und unmittelbar in allen Mitgliedstaaten Gültigkeit. Durch REACH wurde das bisherige Chemikalienrecht grundlegend harmonisiert und vereinfacht.
