Pankrti (The Bastards in Slovene) are a punk rock band from Ljubljana, Slovenia, active in the late 1970s and 1980s. They were known for provocative and political songs. They billed themselves as The First Punk Band Behind The Iron Curtain (one of their songs was titled, Behind the iron curtain old broads pull red beet). They are one of the most important former Yugoslav punk groups and one of the first punk rock bands ever formed in a communist country.

  • Pankrti (ve slovinštině Bastardi) je slovinská punk rocková skupina z Lublaně. Pankrti jsou jedna z prvních punkových skupin, založených v komunistických zemích. Často byli označování za "první punkovou kapelu za železnou oponou". Kapelu tvořili Peter Lovšin, Gregor Tomc, Boris Kramberger, Dušan Žiberna, Bogo Pretnar, Mitja Prijatelj, Slavc Colnarič, Marc Kavaš a na některých koncertech vystupoval také Matjaž Gantar. Za dobu svého desetiletého působení nahráli 10 desek, z toho 5 velkých studiových. Byli známí pro své provokativní a politické texty. (cs)
  • Pankrti ("hijos bastardos", en esloveno) es un grupo de música punk rock de la antigua Yugoslavia, fundado en Liubliana, Eslovenia, en 1977. El grupo fue activo a finales de los años setenta y durante los años ochenta. El grupo se separó en 1987, pero en 2007 se unieron nuevamente y hoy en día siguen actuando. Durante su carrera publicaron 10 álbumes, cinco de ellos eran álbumes de estudio. Son conocidos por sus canciones provocadoras y su contenido político. Es uno de los grupos más importantes de música punk en la ex Yugoslavia y también uno de los primeros grupos "punk" formados en un estado socialista. Por este hecho los denominaron también "primera banda punk tras el telón de acero". (es)

  • I Pankrti (in italiano: Bastardi) sono stati un gruppo punk rock sloveno di Lubiana, attivi verso la fine degli anni settanta e negli anni ottanta. Sono conosciuti per le loro canzoni provocatorie e politicamente impegnate. Si sono autodefiniti "la prima band punk al di qua della Cortina di ferro" (benché la Jugoslavia non fosse in realtà considerata legata al blocco sovietico). Furono comunque uno dei primi e dei più importanti gruppi punk dei Paesi socialisti. La loro canzone più nota è Bandiera rossa, in una versione in lingua italiana da loro rieditata e modernizzata.
