| - Monsters We Met ("Monstres que ens vàrem trobar") és una sèrie de televisió en tres parts produïda el 2003 per la BBC. La sèrie va utilitzar els mateixos efectes especials que s'havien fet servir a Caminant entre dinosaures o Walking with Beasts, però incloent-hi actors humans per primera vegada. La sèrie es concentra en l'expansió d'Homo sapiens a Amèrica, Austràlia i Nova Zelanda. A cada episodi, se segueix un grup de colonitzadors humans i els animals que es troben als llocs on arriben. Das zentrale Thema der Dokumentation ist das große Artensterben vieler Großtiere während des Endes des Pleistozäns und des Mittelalters in Amerika, Australien und Neuseeland. 2003 wurde die Dokumentation in Großbritannien erstmals ausgestrahlt, die deutsche Erstausstrahlung fand am 27. November 2003 auf NDR statt. Ähnlich wie bei der Serie Wildes Amerika – Zeugen der Eiszeit, welche 2002 erschien, wurden in der Dokumentation ausgestorbene Großstiere entweder durch CGI (z. B. - Monsters We Met is a documentary produced by the BBC that later aired as a special on Animal Planet in 2004 (under the title, Land of Lost Monsters) which also included footage from Walking with Beasts and Walking with Cavemen (both also made by the BBC). The show used computer-generated imagery to recreate the life of the giant animals that lived during the last ice age and explains how early humans encountered them. It also features humans as the main reason for the extinction of all great animals. (en)
- Monsters We Met (literalmente, en inglés, Monstruos que nos encontramos) es una serie de televisión documental en tres partes producida en 2003 por la BBC. Se trata de un spin-off de otra serie de la BBC, Walking with Cavemen, del mismo año, y su título hace referencia a los animales que el Homo sapiens prehistórico se ha ido encontrando mientras iba colonizando América, Australia y Nueva Zelanda. En cada episodio se sigue a un grupo de colonizadores humanos y se muestra en pantalla todos los animales que los colonizadores se encuentran por el camino. Para la producción de esta serie se utilizaron partes del metraje original de dos series anteriormente ya producidas por la BBC: Walking with Beasts (2001) y Walking with Cavemen (2003). (es)
