| - Masami Tanabu (jap. 田名部 匡省, Tanabu Masami; * 7. Dezember 1934 in Hachinohe, Präfektur Aomori) ist ein ehemaliger japanischer Eishockeyspieler, -trainer und Politiker. Bis 2010 war er für die Demokratische Partei (DPJ) Abgeordneter des Sangiin, des Oberhauses, und war von 1991 bis 1993 Minister für Landwirtschaft, Forsten und Fischerei im Kabinett. Als Eishockeyspieler nahm Tanabu zweimal an Olympischen Winterspielen teil, bei den Spielen von Sapporo trainierte er 1972 die Nationalmannschaft. (de)
- Masami Tanabu (田名部 匡省, Tanabu Masami, born December 7, 1934 in Hachinohe, Aomori) is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Hachinohe, Aomori and graduate of Rikkyo University, he was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 2004 after serving in the for two terms and then in the House of Representatives for six terms. He was former head coach of Japan national ice hockey team. He also competed at the 1960 Winter Olympics and the 1964 Winter Olympics. (en)
