| - Der Jordan 199 war der Formel-1-Rennwagen von Jordan Mugen-Honda für die Saison 1999. Er war ein Evolutionsmodell des Vorjahreswagens Jordan 198 und zugleich das achte von Jordan konstruierte Fahrzeug. Pilotiert von Heinz-Harald Frentzen und Damon Hill brachte der Wagen Teamchef Eddie Jordan das beste Ergebnis der Teamgeschichte ein. Frentzen konnte zwei Rennen gewinnen und hatte lange Zeit eine realistische Chance auf den Meistertitel. Wenige Tage vor Saisonbeginn äußerte Jean Alesi, dass Jordan mit dem 199 in seinen Augen die „Überraschung der Saison“ werden würde. (de)

Elle est pilotée par l'Anglais Damon Hill, pour sa seconde saison dans l'écurie et par l'Allemand Heinz-Harald Frentzen, en provenance de Williams F1 Team, remplaçant ainsi Ralf Schumacher qui fait le chemin inverse. Progettata da Mike Gascoyne e guidata da Damon Hill e Heinz-Harald Frentzen, fu l'unica vettura della scuderia irlandese a cogliere due vittorie in Formula 1 nella stessa stagione ed a poter competere per la vittoria di un titolo mondiale. - The Jordan 199 was the car with which the Jordan Formula One team used to compete in the 1999 Formula One season. It was driven by 1996 World Champion Damon Hill, who had won the team's first Grand Prix in Belgium the previous season, and Heinz-Harald Frentzen, who was swapped with Williams in favour of Ralf Schumacher. The car was also driven by test drivers Tomáš Enge and Shinji Nakano. It was designed by technical director Mike Gascoyne and his assistant Tim Holloway. (en)
