| - Das Imperial War Museum Duxford ist ein englisches Militärmuseum bei Duxford. Es befindet sich auf dem Gelände eines ehemaligen Militärflugplatzes rund 20 Kilometer südlich von Cambridge und ist ein Teil des Londoner Imperial War Museums. In der Museumsanlage werden vor allem große Exponate ausgestellt, die in anderen Dependancen keinen Platz fänden. Der Hauptfokus des Museums liegt bei Flugzeugen. Es werden jedoch auch andere für Großbritannien (militär-)geschichtlich relevante Bereiche abgedeckt. 2019 wurde das Imperial War Museum Duxford von rund 401.000 Personen besucht. (de)

Britain's largest aviation museum, Duxford houses the museum's large exhibits, including nearly 200 aircraft, military vehicles, artillery and minor naval vessels in seven main exhibition buildings. The site also provides storage space for the museum's other collections of material such as film, photographs, documents, books and artefacts. - Imperial War Museum Duxford – muzeum wojskowe koło Duxford, w Anglii, oddział Imperial War Museum. Wojskowe lotnisko w Duxford jest jednym z pierwszych zbudowanych w Wielkiej Brytanii. Powstało podczas I wojny światowej. Po utworzeniu w 1918 Royal Air Force (z połączenia Royal Naval Air Service i RFC Royal Flying Corps) lotnisko w Duxford funkcjonowało początkowo jako baza szkoleniowa sił powietrznych. Lotniskiem myśliwskim Duxford zostało w 1924 goszcząc dywizjony 19, 29 i III. W czasie bitwy o Anglię na lotnisku w Duxford stacjonował m.in. polski dywizjon 302 wyposażony w samoloty Hurricane. (pl)
