Great Celebrations square is the main square for public celebrations in Baghdad with a stadium for the heads of the state in the center of the Parade avenue. The square is home to three important public monuments created by leading mid-20th century sculptors.

- La plaza de las Grandes Celebraciones (en árabe: ساحة الاحتفالات الكبرى) es la plaza principal para las celebraciones públicas en Bagdad con un estadio para los jefes de estado en el centro de una avenida. Construida en la época del presidente Saddam Hussein, allí se llevaron a cabo todos los desfiles militares y los acontecimientos nacionales. La plaza fue construida en 1986, y en 1989 se añadió el arco de las Manos de la Victoria para celebrar la victoria en la guerra entre Irán e Irak como si la guerra hubiese sido ganada. La plaza se encuentra cerca de Harthiya y en la fortificada Zona Verde que contiene museos y monumentos, cerca del El Monumento al Soldado Desconocido construido en 1980, cuando comenzó la guerra con Irán. La plaza tiene un gran valor cultural. (es)

| - ساحة الاحتفالات الكبرى هي الساحة الرئيسية للاحتفالات العامة في بغداد. ولقد بنيت وتأسست في عام 1986م، وفي عام 1989م تم أضافة نصب قوس النصر لها وذلك للأحتفال بالنصر في الحرب العراقية الإيرانية، في عهد الرئيس العراقي صدام حسين، وكان يقام فيها كل الاستعراضات العسكرية والمناسبات الوطنية. وتقع الساحة بالقرب من منطقة الحارثية في المنطقة الخضراء المحصنة، وتحتوي على متاحف ونصب تذكارية، ويقع بالقرب منها نصب الجندي المجهول، وتعتبر ساحة الاحتفالات ذات قيمة حضارية كبيرة ويبرز فيها قوس النصر الشهير حيث يعتبر واحدا من أجمل النصب في العالم، ويمثل حقبة من تاريخ العراق، ولقد بني النصب بإشراف النحاتين العراقيين محمد غني حكمت وخالد الرحال، وتم ترميم النصب عام 2011م. وقد افتتحت الساحة في 31كانون الأول سبتمبر 2017 .
