George Gauer (November 30, 1892 – May 3, 1992) was a printer and real estate salesman from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who served two terms as a Socialist member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Gauer was born in Milwaukee on November 30, 1892. He graduated from the Milwaukee public schools and worked as a printing press operator. When elected to the Assembly in 1922, he had been a member of the Pressmen's Union and of the Socialist Party for more than twelve years.
