Gay Krant was a Dutch magazine written for the gay community, published every month since 1980. It was published by the Best Publishing Group under leadership of Henk Krol. The magazine has its headquarters in Amsterdam. After a bankruptcy in 2013, the magazine was taken over by the companies behind the other gay media , and OUTTV. The Gay Krant then first appeared as a combined edition with homoglossy under the name Winq | Gaykrant, but eventually the indication Gaykrant disappeared and nowadays the magazine is simply called Winq.

- Gay Krant ist ein niederländisches Magazin und erscheint seit 1980. Die Gay Krant ist eine Zeitschrift für LGBT-Personen und wurde im Dezember 1979 gegründet. Chefredakteur der Gay Krant war bis 2013 der Journalist und Politiker Henk Krol, der nach seinem Einzug in die Zweite Kammer der Generalstaaten für die Partei 50PLUS diese Funktion aufgab. Gay Krant entstand anfangs als Magazin für die schwule Bar Du Masher in Eindhoven und entwickelte sich im Laufe der Jahrzehnte zu dem wichtigsten LGBT-Magazin in den Niederlanden. Die Auflage liegt bei circa 30.000 Ausgaben und erscheint seit 2000 im A4-Format. (de)

- De Gay Krant was van 1980 tot 2013 een maandelijks verschijnend Nederlands tijdschrift voor homoseksuelen, lesbiennes en biseksuelen. Het tijdschrift werd uitgegeven door de Best Publishing Group onder leiding van Henk Krol. Na een faillissement in 2013 werd het tijdschrift overgenomen door de bedrijven achter de andere homomedia Winq, Gay.nl en OUTtv. De Gay Krant verscheen toen eerst als gecombineerde uitgave met homoglossy Winq onder de naam Winq|Gaykrant, maar na een half jaar verviel de toevoeging Gaykrant en tegenwoordig heet het tijdschrift Winq zonder meer. Zwischen 1990 und 2005 oblag diese Aufgabe dem Journalisten . Seit 2005 übernimmt diese Tätigkeit. Bekannte weitere Kolumnenschreiber für die Gay Krant sind unter anderem , Boris Dittrich, und Hochschullehrer Rob Tielman aus Utrecht. (de)
