Eupolemus (Greek: ʾΕυπόλεμος) is the earliest Hellenistic Jewish historian whose writing survives from Antiquity. Five (or possibly six) fragments of his work have been preserved in Eusebius of Caesarea's Praeparatio Evangelica (hereafter abbreviated as Praep.), embedded in quotations from the historian Alexander Polyhistor, and in the Stromata (hereafter abbreviated as Strom.) of Clement of Alexandria.

(en) Eupolemos war ein antiker griechischsprachiger Geschichtsschreiber des 2. Jahrhunderts v. Chr. Er gilt als frühester jüdisch-hellenistischer Historiker. Möglicherweise ist der hier behandelte Geschichtsschreiber identisch mit dem Gesandten , Sohn des Johannes, des Sohnes des Akkos. Dieser wurde im Jahr 161 v. Chr. im Auftrag der Makkabäer nach Rom gesandt, um einen Freundschaftsvertrag zu schließen. Eupolemos ist zu unterscheiden von dem sogenannten Pseudo-Eupolemos (Die Fragmente der griechischen Historiker, Nr. 724). (de) Eupolemos (II wiek p.n.e.) – grecki historyk żydowski, autor zaginionego dzieła „O królach Judei”. Według niego kultura egipska wywodzi się od patriarchów żydowskich. Eupolemos jest wymieniony przez Józefa Flawiusza Contra Apionem (I,23). Choć jego dzieło zaginęło cytuje go Euzebiusz z Cezarei (Praep. Evang. 9,25-39) oraz Klemens Aleksandryjski, który przytacza niewielkie fragmenty (Stromata I,141.1-4). Dokumenty te zawierają dwa tytuły dzieł Eupolemosa: „O królach Judei” oraz „Proroctwo Eliasza” przy czym ten drugi uważany jest za część pierwszego dzieła. (pl)
