- Deinodon ("dents terribles") és el nom assignat a unes dents de tiranosàurid del Cretaci superior. Van ser trobades a Montana pel paleontòleg Joseph Leidy l'any 1856. Tot i que sembla que aquestes dents fòssils van pertànyer al dinosaure que més tard es va identificar com a Gorgosaurus libratus, és impossible distingir entre diferents espècies de tiranosàurids basant-se únicament en les característiques de les dents, així doncs Deinodon actualment es considera un nomen dubium - un nom científic dubtós de poc ús. - Deinodon (Greek for "terrible tooth") is a dubious tyrannosaurid dinosaur genus containing a single species, Deinodon horridus. D. horridus is known only from a set of teeth found in the Late Cretaceous Judith River Formation of Montana and named by paleontologist Joseph Leidy in 1856. These were the first tyrannosaurid remains to be described and had been collected by Ferdinand Vandeveer Hayden. The teeth of Deinodon were slightly heterodont, and the holotype of Aublysodon can probably be assigned to Deinodon. (en)

- Deinodon horridus es la única especie conocida del género dudoso extinto Deinodon (gr. "diente terrible") de dinosaurio terópodo tiranosáurido, que vivó a finales del período Cretácico hace aproximadamente 77 millones de años en lo que es hoy Norteamérica. Deinodon es conocido por unos pocos dientes ligeramente heterodontidos. Lambe descubrió que unas pocas falanges y un metatarsiano con fragmentos de otros eran posiblemente asignables a D. horridus en 1902. (es)
- Deinodon is een geslacht van vleesetende theropode dinosauriërs, behorend tot de groep van de Tyrannosauroidea, dat tijdens het late Krijt leefde in het gebied van het huidige Noord-Amerika. De typesoort Deinodon horridus, slechts gebaseerd op vondsten van losse tanden, wordt tegenwoordig beschouwd als een nomen dubium en betreft vermoedelijk materiaal van Gorgosaurus of Daspletosaurus. Alle andere soorten in het geslacht worden ook beschouwd als nomina dubia of zijn later bij andere soorten ondergebracht. (nl)
