HX 112 was a North Atlantic convoy of the HX series which ran during the battle of the Atlantic in the Second World War. It saw the loss of U-boats commanded by two of the Kriegsmarine's most celebrated commanders and propaganda heroes: U-99 under Otto Kretschmer (POW), and U-100 under Joachim Schepke (KIA).

März 1941 im kanadischen Halifax ab und traf am 20. März in Liverpool ein. Die Alliierten verloren durch deutsche U-Boote fünf Frachtschiffe mit 34.505 BRT, während auf deutscher Seite die U-Boote U 99 und U 100 versenkt wurden. Dabei geriet der Kommandant von U 99, Kapitänleutnant Otto Kretschmer, der nach versenkter Tonnage erfolgreichste U-Boot-Kommandant des Zweiten Weltkrieges, in britische Gefangenschaft. Der Kommandant von U 100, Kapitänleutnant Joachim Schepke, einer der bekanntesten deutschen U-Boot-Kommandanten, wurde getötet.
