Bernard Ralph Maybeck (February 7, 1862 – October 3, 1957) was an American architect in the Arts and Crafts Movement of the early 20th century. He was an instructor at University of California, Berkeley. Most of his major buildings were in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Hij werkte vlotjes in verschillende stijlen en geloofde dat elk architecturaal project nood had aan een eigen oplossing die beantwoordde aan de specifieke omstandigheden en noden. Veel van zijn werken combineren historisme met organische vormen en eigenzinnig modernisme. Maybeck ontwierp zo'n 150 gebouwen in de San Francisco Bay Area, waarvan er nog heel wat overleven. (nl)

Inspirował się również pracami Viollet-le-Duca i Sempera, a także czerpał z doświadczeń ruchu artystycznego Arts and Crafts Movement. W 1890 wyjechał do Kalifornii, gdzie w 1902 otworzył swoje biuro architektoniczne. Maybeck został pochowany na cmentarzu Mountain View Cemetery w Oakland. (pl)
