- The Battle of Wolgast was an engagement in the Thirty Years' War, fought on 22 August (O.S.) or 2 September (N.S.) 1628 near Wolgast, Duchy of Pomerania, Germany. Danish forces of Christian IV of Denmark-Norway had made landfall on Usedom and the adjacent mainland, and expelled the imperial occupation forces. An Imperial army commanded by Albrecht von Wallenstein left besieged Stralsund to confront Christian IV. Ultimately, the Danish forces were defeated. Christian IV and a fraction of his landing force were able to escape by ship. (en)

- Bitwa pod Wołogoszczą (Wolgast) – starcie zbrojne, które miało miejsce 12 sierpnia 1628 roku podczas wojny trzydziestoletniej. Król Danii Chrystian IV przekonany o militarnym osłabieniu Cesarstwa, zdecydował o wysadzeniu znacznych sił na Pomorzu Zachodnim, bez świadomości rzeczywistego potencjału wojsk A. Wallensteina. Zmyleni łatwymi sukcesami w walkach o Strzałów, w wyniku których twierdza pomorska została uwolniona od oblężenia Wallensteina, Duńczycy wylądowali przy ujściu Odry i podjęli marsz w kierunku Wołogoszczy, gdzie dotarli 3 sierpnia 1628. W 9 dni później przybył tam Wallenstein na czele potężnej armii; Duńczycy zostali pobici i wyparci na morze. Była to ich ostatnia próba militarnych działań w wojnie trzydziestoletniej. (pl)

- La battaglia di Wolgast si svolse il 12 agosto 1628 in Pomerania, tra le forze danesi del re Cristiano IV e le forze imperiali al comando di Albrecht von Wallenstein. Fu l'ultima battaglia della fase danese della Guerra dei trent'anni. Dopo essere avanzato nell'entroterra, Cristiano occupò la città di Wolgast ma venne costretto alla scontro aperto dalle forze di Wallenstein. Schiacciato dalla superiorità numerica e dai cannoni degli imperiali, il re di Danimarca venne pesantemente sconfitto e riuscì a stento ad evitare la cattura. (it)
