Une armée égyptienne de près de 20 000 hommes, commandée par Charaf, le fils du vizir Al-Afdhal, arrive en Palestine et parvient à surprendre les troupes de Baudouin Ier de Jérusalem à Ramla, près du port de Jaffa. (pt) Druga bitwa pod Ramlą(w historiografii znanej też jako Ar-Ramla) – starcie zbrojne, które miało miejsce 17 maja 1102 roku pomiędzy siłami Królestwa Jerozolimskiego i Fatymidów z Egiptu. Przyczyną bitwy, podobnie jak tej rozegranej rok wcześniej były nieustające najazdy muzułmanów na ziemie łacinników i ich wasali, dokonywane z Askalonu – twierdzy Fatymidów w Palestynie. Obydwie armie spotkały się pod Ramlą, która leżała na drodze z Askalonu do Jerozolimy. (pl)
