| - The Battle of Guerrero, or the Battle of San Geronimo, in March 1916, was the first military engagement between the rebels of Pancho Villa and the United States during the Mexican Expedition. After a long ride, elements of the American 7th Cavalry Regiment encountered a large force of Villistas at the town of Guerrero in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. In what has been called the "last true cavalry charge," the Americans assaulted the town and routed the defenders, inflicting over seventy-five casualties on the Mexicans with the loss of only five men wounded. - El batalla de Guerrero, también llamada batalla de San Gerónimo, fue el primer conflicto militar entre la División del Norte comandada por Francisco Villa y los Estados Unidos durante la expedición mexicana ocurrido el 29 de marzo de 1916. Fue denominada como la «última carga de caballería verdadera». Después de un largo viaje, los elementos del 7.º Regimiento de la Caballería estadounidense se encontraron con las fuerzas villistas en Ciudad Guerrero (Chihuahua). (es)
- La battaglia di Guerrero o battaglia di San Geronimo, combattuta nel marzo 1916, fu il primo scontro armato tra i ribelli messicani di Pancho Villa e gli Stati Uniti d'America durante la Spedizione punitiva in Messico. Dopo un lungo inseguimento, le truppe statunitensi del 7th Cavalry Regiment incontrarono una grande forza Villista della División del Norte nella città di Vicente Guerrero, nello stato messicano del Chihuahua. In quella che è stata definita l'ultima vera carica di cavalleria, gli statunitensi attaccarono la città e misero in fuga i difensori, infliggendo oltre 75 perdite ai messicani, tra morti e feriti, e subendo solo 5 feriti.
