The Battle of Aguere, or Battle of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, was fought between forces of the Crown of Castile, led by the Adelantado (military governor) Alonso Fernández de Lugo, and the natives of Tenerife, called Guanches. The battle took place on 14-15 November 1494. The Battle of Aguere was later followed by the decisive Second Battle of Acentejo more than a month later, which resulted in the complete Castilian conquest of Tenerife.

La batalla, que tuvo lugar el 14 de noviembre de 1495, toma su nombre por haberse desarrollado en el llano donde luego se fundó la ciudad de San Cristóbal de La Laguna y predeterminó la conquista de la isla por la Corona de Castilla al mando de Alonso Fernández de Lugo. La batalla es va produir mig any després de la derrota del mateix Fernández de Lugo, en el que va ser el major desastre castellà durant la conquesta de l'arxipèlag canari, la , també denominada com la població que allí es va fundar, La Matanza de Acentejo.
