A referendum on anti-corruption measures was held in Colombia on 26 August 2018. Voters were asked whether they approve of seven proposals aimed at reducing corruption: limiting the number of terms for politicians at all levels to three; requiring election candidates disclose their assets and those of their relatives; elected politicians being required to disclose their activities and private interests; a requirement for public hearings on budgets; a requirement for all public sector contracts to go out to tender; the removal of the right to parole for people convicted of corruption; and reducing the maximum salary of public officials and politicians from forty times the minimum wage to twenty-five times.

- La consulta popular anticorrupción de Colombia fue un proceso electoral que se realizó el domingo 26 de agosto de 2018 en Colombia. La papeleta de votación constó de siete preguntas para que los votantes pudieran aprobar o rechazar (Sí o No). En la historia del país es la primera consulta popular que se ha realizado a nivel nacional . Las preguntas de la consulta, estaban referidas al salario y periodo de funcionarios públicos, la contratación con el Estado, participación ciudadana y rendición de cuentas. (es)
- Un référendum d'origine populaire a lieu le 26 août 2018 en Colombie. La population est amenée à se prononcer sur sept mesures destinées à lutter contre la corruption dans le secteur public. Comme attendu, le oui l'emporte à une très large majorité pour l'ensemble des propositions, les opposants ayant appelé à l'abstention afin de faire chuter la participation en deçà du quorum d'un tiers des votants. Devenu le véritable enjeu du scrutin, le taux de participation manque finalement de peu le quorum, avec en moyenne 31 % des inscrits ayant voté. In order for the results to be legally binding, voter turnout was required to be at least one-third of registered voters (12.1 million). However, only 11.7 million voters (32%) cast ballots. (en)
- La consulta popular anticorrupción de Colombia fue un proceso electoral que se realizó el domingo 26 de agosto de 2018 en Colombia. La papeleta de votación constó de siete preguntas para que los votantes pudieran aprobar o rechazar (Sí o No). En la historia del país es la primera consulta popular que se ha realizado a nivel nacional . La realización de la consulta fue aprobada por 84 votos a favor y 0 en contra el 5 de junio de 2018 en la plenaria del Senado de la República. Para que fueran aprobados los mandatos, era necesario obtener al menos 12 140 342 de votos (33,3 % del censo electoral vigente) y que el Sí obtenga más del 50% de los votos. De haber sido aprobada se habría debido tramitar dicha norma por el Congreso de la República, sin embargo la abstención electoral durante la jornada, impidió que se alcanzara el umbral, y por tanto no fue aprobada. Las preguntas de la consulta, estaban referidas al salario y periodo de funcionarios públicos, la contratación con el Estado, participación ciudadana y rendición de cuentas. (es)
