- Ipek Şenoğlu, née le 8 juin 1979 à Eskişehir (Turquie), est une joueuse de tennis turque, professionnelle depuis 1995. Sa surface de prédilection est la terre battue. Elle est entraînée par Olivier Vanneste. Le 15 mai 2005, elle a joué avec la star américaine de tennis Venus Williams sur le Pont du Bosphore, le premier match de tennis jamais joué sur les deux continents. La manifestation a été organisée comme une promotion de l'édition 2005 du WTA Istanbul Cup à venir et a duré cinq minutes. Après l'exhibition, elles ont jeté une balle de tennis dans le Bosphore. Jejím nejvyšším umístěním na žebříčku WTA ve dvouhře bylo 293. místo (5. červenec 2004) a ve čtyřhře 53. místo (19. říjen 2009). Na okruhu WTA dosud nevyhrála žádný turnaj. Na okruhu ITF zvítězila na 2 turnajích ve dvouhře a 20 ve čtyřhře. 15. května 2005 v 7 hodin místního času odehrála krátkou pětiminutovou exhibici s Venus Williamsovou na istanbulském Bosporském mostu, což bylo vůbec poprvé v historii, kdy byl hrán tenis zároveň na dvou kontinentech. - İpek Şenoğlu (born 8 June 1979), nicknamed İpeko, is a former Turkish tennis player. She first made history in June 2004, when she was accepted into the women's doubles qualifying for Wimbledon. Though Şenoğlu did not advance into the main draw of Wimbledon, she became the first Turk ever to play in a qualifying tournament for a Grand Slam event. She and partner Yaroslava Shvedova reached the semifinals of the 2009 Italian Open, a WTA Premier event. Following this event, İpek's WTA doubles rank rose to No. 76. Her peak doubles rank has been No. 53. (en)

Zij speelt rechtshandig en heeft een tweehandige backhand. In 1994 speelde zij haar eerste ITF-toernooi in Istanboel op het vrouwendubbelspel. In 1995 debuteerde zij ook op het enkelspel. Przełomowym wydarzeniem w karierze Şenoğlu było dostanie się do eliminacji gry podwójnej Wimbledonu 2004. Mimo że nie dostała się do turnieju głównego, została pierwszą osobą z Turcji w historii, która grała w eliminacjach do turnieju wielkoszlemowego. (pl)
