Henry Pierce Stapp (born March 23, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American mathematical physicist, known for his work in quantum mechanics, particularly the development of axiomatic S-matrix theory, the proofs of strong nonlocality properties, and the place of free will in the "orthodox" quantum mechanics of John von Neumann.

Stapp studierte an der University of Michigan mit dem Bachelor-Abschluss 1951 und an der University of California, Berkeley, mit dem Master-Abschluss 1952 und der Promotion bei Emilio Segrè und Owen Chamberlain 1955. Als Post-Doktorand war er bei Wolfgang Pauli an der ETH Zürich und war auch 1958 in München bei Werner Heisenberg. Ab 1959 war er Physiker am Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. (de)
