John Robert "Bud" McCaig (June 14, 1929 – January 11, 2005) was a Canadian businessman and a co-owner of the Calgary Flames NHL franchise. Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, McCaig dropped out of high school to become a truck driver, following in the footsteps of his father, John W. (Jack) McCaig, for whom he worked in the Maccam Transport Company. In the 1980s, McCaig paired with Harley Hotchkiss and Alvin Libin to purchase a share of the Calgary Flames. McCaig died in Barbados.
