The 1985 Men's Hockey Asia Cup was the second edition of the Men's Hockey Asia Cup, the quadrennial international men's field hockey championship of Asia organized by the Asian Hockey Federation. It was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 20 to 28 January 1985. The defending champions Pakistan won its second Asian title by defeating India 3–2 in the final. South Korea won its first medal by defeating Japan 2–0 in the bronze medal match.

  • De tweede editie van het Aziatisch kampioenschap hockey voor mannen werd in 1985 gehouden in het Bengalese Dhaka. Het toernooi met 10 deelnemers werd gehouden van 20 tot en met 28 januari. Het Pakistan verdedigde met succes de titel en versloeg in de finale India met 3-2. De finale werd ontsierd door schermutselingen op het veld naar aanleiding van een controversieel winnend doelpunt in de verlenging en toeschouwers die het veld bestormden om het resultaat te vieren. De Japanse scheidsrechter Yoshomoto Yubata werd bewusteloos geslagen en de wedstrijd werd een half uur onderbroken.
