Kuururjuaq National Park (French: Parc national Kuururjuaq) is a 4,460 km2 (1,720 sq mi) national park, created in May 2009 and managed by the Kativik Regional Government, in northeast Quebec, Canada. It stretches all the way from Ungava Bay to Mount D'Iberville, which is on the Newfoundland and Labrador and Quebec border. Mount D'Iberville, at an altitude of 1,646 m (5,400 ft), is the highest mountain in eastern continental Canada, dominating over the entire Torngat Mountain range. The 166 km (103 mi) Koroc River runs through the national park to Ungava Bay. Kuururjuaq National Park contains a variety of different ecosystems and comprises three natural regions: the Torngat Mountain Foothills, the George River Plateau and the Ungava Coast. Der nächstgelegene Ort, die Inuit-Siedlung Kangiqsualujjuaq, liegt östlich des Parks. Die Aufgabe des im Nordosten Québecs, in der Verwaltungsregion Nord-du-Québec gelegen und mit 4426,78 km² einer der größten Parks der Provinz, besteht darin, das Tal des 160 km langen Rivière Koroc, der von den Torngatbergen in die Ungava Bay fließt, sowie einen Teil des Quellgebirges selbst zu schützen. Dort befindet sich auch der mit 1652 m höchste Berg der Provinz, der (Mount Caubvick). Das 2009 gegründete Schutzgebiet reicht im Osten bis an die Grenze zur benachbarten Provinz Neufundland und Labrador, zum Torngat-Mountains-Nationalpark. Ungewöhnlich ist, dass so weit im Norden noch ausgedehnte Wälder bestehen. Der Park repräsentiert drei Naturregionen, nämlich den Fuß der Torngatberge, das und die Ungava-Küste. Grundsätzlich werden die Parcs national in der Provinz Québec durch die (Sépaq) verwaltet. Da der Park jedoch nördlich des 55. Breitengrads und damit in der Region Nunavik liegt, erfolgt die Verwaltung durch die der (Kativik Regional Government, KGR) unterstehende . (de)
