The Mallet family (French: [mɑlɛ]) is a family of French businessmen and bankers. During the 16th century, the Mallet family first fled from Rouen to Geneva to escape mounting religious oppression by the state. In 1810, was titled under the French Empire, followed by under Louis XVIII in 1816. Besides banking, fields in which members have excelled include science, the military, law, and politics.
