- وليد محمد صالح بن رشيد بن عطاش ويلقب خلاد (ولد في 1979) وهو سجين يمني رهن الاعتقال بدون محاكمة في سجن جوانتانامو في الولايات المتحدة، إتهمه الادعاء الأمريكي أنه ساعد في إعداد تفجير سفارات الولايات المتحدة 1998 في شرق أفريقيا وتفجير المدمرة كول، وكان بمثابة الحارس الشخصي لأسامة بن لادن، وجهت إليه رسميا تهمة اختيار ومساعدة العديد من الخاطفين في هجمات 11 سبتمبر. ينحدر من عائلة على علاقة ودية مع أسامة بن لادن، وله العديد من الإخوة الذين شاركو في القتال في أفغانستان في تسعينيات القرن الماضي، تم ترحيل عائلته من اليمن ونشأ وترعرع في السعودية. ودرس في جامعة الدراسات الإسلامية في كراتشي الباكستانية واعتقل عطاش في باكستان في أيار عام 2003 (ar)

En 2021, il est prisonnier au camp de Guantánamo en détention extrajudiciaire pour ses activités terroristes. Le bureau du directeur du renseignement national américain le décrit comme « rejeton d'une famille de terroristes ». Les procureurs américains servant sur la Commission militaire de Guantánamo l'accusent d'avoir aidé à la préparation des attentats à la bombe des ambassades américaines à Dar es Salam (Tanzanie) et à Nairobi (Kenya) en août 1998 et de l'attentat contre l’USS Cole en 2000, ainsi que d'avoir servi de garde du corps d'Oussama ben Laden, ce qui lui vaudrait la réputation d'être un « garçon errant ». Il a été formellement accusé d'avoir choisi et entraîné plusieurs pirates de l'air des attentats du 11 septembre 2001. La Pologne a offert le statut de victime à Attash en raison de soupçons de tortures dans l'une des prisons secrètes de la CIA dans ce pays. (fr)
- Walid Muhammad Salih bin Mubarak bin Attash (Arabic: وليد محمد صالح بن مبارك بن عتش; born 1978) is a Yemeni prisoner held in extrajudicial detention at the United States' Guantanamo Bay detention camp and is suspected of playing a key role in the early stages of the 9/11 attacks. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence described him as a "scion of a terrorist family". American prosecutors at the Guantanamo military commissions allege that he helped in the preparation of the 1998 East Africa Embassy bombings and the USS Cole bombing and acted as a bodyguard to Osama bin Laden, gaining himself the reputation of an "errand boy". He is formally charged with selecting and helping to train several of the hijackers of the September 11 attacks. Attash was given victim status in Poland for his alleged torture by Americans in a CIA black site on Polish soil. (en)
