- La Resolució 1151 del Consell de Seguretat de les Nacions Unides fou adoptada per unanimitat el 30 de gener de 1998. Després de recordar anteriors resolucions sobre Israel i el Líban incloses les resolucions 501 (1982), 508 (1982), 509 (1982) i 520 (1982), així com estudiar l'informe del Secretari General Boutros Boutros-Ghali sobre la Força Provisional de les Nacions Unides al Líban (UNIFIL) aprovada en la Resolució 426 (1978), el Consell va decidir prorrogar el mandat de la UNIFIL per un període de sis mesos fins al 31 de juliol de 1998. El Consell llavors va reemfatitzar el mandat de la Força i va demanar al secretari general que mantingués negociacions amb el i altres parts implicades en l'aplicació de les resolucions 425 (1978) i 426 (1978) i que informés al respecte. Fou condemnada tota violència contra la UNIFIL i es va instar a les parts a aturar els atacs contra la Força. El secretari general Kofi Annan va informar que s'havia incrementat la tensió a la regió, amb 34 baixes en comparació amb 9 en el període anterior de presentació d'informes; també havia registrat 249 operacions o atacs contra les Forces de Defensa d'Israel i l'. Es van estimular més estalvis d'eficiència sempre que no afectessin la capacitat operativa de l'operació. (ca)
- قرار مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة رقم 1151، الذي اتخذ بالإجماع في 30 يناير 1998، بعد التذكير بالقرارات السابقة بشأن إسرائيل ولبنان بما في ذلك 501 (1982) و 508 (1982) و 509 (1982) و 520 (1982) بالإضافة إلى دراسة التقرير من قبل الأمين العام لقوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان (اليونيفيل) المعتمدة في 426 (1978)، قرر المجلس تمديد ولاية اليونيفيل لستة أشهر أخرى حتى 31 تموز / يوليو 1998. ثم أعاد المجلس التأكيد على ولاية القوة وطلب إلى الأمين العام مواصلة المفاوضات مع حكومة لبنان والأطراف المعنية الأخرى فيما يتعلق بتنفيذ القرارين 425 (1978) و 426 (1978) وتقديم تقرير عن ذلك. وقد تم إدانة جميع أعمال العنف ضد اليونيفيل وحثت الأطراف على وضع حد للهجمات على القوة. وقد أفاد الأمين العام كوفي عنان أن التوتر ازداد في المنطقة، حيث بلغ عدد الضحايا 34 ضحية مقابل 9 في الفترة المشمولة بالتقرير السابق؛ كما سجلت 249 عملية أو هجوما ضد جيش الدفاع الإسرائيلي وجيش جنوب لبنان. تم تشجيع المزيد من الكفاءات بشرط ألا تؤثر على القدرة التشغيلية للعملية. Usai mengulang resolusi-resolusi sebelumnya perihal topik tersebut, serta mengkaji laporan dari Sekjen perihal United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) yang dibentuk lewat Resolusi 426 Dewan Keamanan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (1978), DKPBB memutuskan untuk memperpanjang masa penugasan UNIFIL selama enam bulan berikutnya sampai 31 Juli 1998. - United Nations Security Council resolution 1151, adopted unanimously on 30 January 1998, after recalling previous resolutions on Israel and Lebanon including 501 (1982), 508 (1982), 509 (1982) and 520 (1982) as well as studying the report by the Secretary-General on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) approved in 426 (1978), the Council decided to extend the mandate of UNIFIL for a further six months until 31 July 1998. The Council then reemphasised the mandate of the Force and requested the Secretary-General to continue negotiations with the Government of Lebanon and other parties concerned with regards to the implementation of resolutions 425 (1978) and 426 (1978) and report thereon. All violence against UNIFIL was condemned with the parties urged to put a stop to attacks on the Force. The Secretary-General Kofi Annan had reported that tension had increased in the region, with 34 casualties compared to 9 in the previous reporting period; it had also recorded 249 operations or attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces and South Lebanon Army. Further efficiency savings were encouraged provided they did not affect the operational capacity of the operation. (en)
