- سيلفي وبرونو، (بالإنجليزية: Sylvie and Bruno) نشرت لأول مرة في عام 1889، ونشر المجلد الثاني منها بعنوان سيلفي وبرونو: الختام في عام 1893، هي آخر رواية بقلم لويس كارول نشرت خلال حياته. وتم وضع الرسوم التوضيحية في المجلدين بريشة . تعتمد الرواية على قصتين رئيسيتين: أحدها تقع في العالم الحقيقي في زمن نشر الكتاب (العصر الفيكتوري)، والآخر في عالم الخيال من دنيا الجنيات. في حين أن القصة الأخيرة هي خرافة بها العديد من العناصر العبثية والقصائد، كذلك فإن القصة هي رواية اجتماعية، وتناقش شخصياتها مختلف المفاهيم وجوانب الدين والمجتمع والفلسفة والأخلاق. - Sylvie und Bruno (englische Originaltitel: Sylvie and Bruno und Sylvie and Bruno Concluded) ist ein zweibändiger Roman des Autors Lewis Carroll. Die Erstausgaben erschienen 1889 und 1893 bei Macmillan Publishers, illustriert wurden die beiden Bände von Harry Furniss. Die erste vollständige Übersetzung ins Deutsche erfolgte 1986 durch Dieter H. Stündel. Das Werk spielt in zwei Welten: In der realen Welt, dem England des viktorianischen Zeitalters, wird in Form eines Gesellschaftsromans von der Liebe Arthur Foresters zu Lady Muriel erzählt, die sich aber zunächst mit einem anderen Mann verlobt. Zum anderen Teil spielt die Erzählung in einer Traumwelt, in der der Gouverneur von Anderland und seine beiden Elben-Kinder Sylvie und Bruno Opfer einer Verschwörung werden. Der Ich-Erzähler wechselt zwischen diesen beiden Welten hin und her. (de)

Roman dans lequel il explore à peu près toutes les combinaisons d'humour et de nonsense tout en traitant de ses thèmes favoris : la logique et ses paradoxes, l'écart entre signifiants et signifiés. Sylvie et Bruno est le troisième et dernier roman de Lewis Carroll, publié en deux volumes :
* Sylvie & Bruno en 1889 ;
* Sylvie & Bruno Concluded en 1893. Deux histoires se croisent : l'une centrée sur les fantasmes de l'enfance et l'autre sur les intrigues amoureuses ou politiques. Les situations et les événements s'enchaînent dans de nombreux procédés d'une grande originalité : parcours du temps vers le passé, pièges logiques, inventions farfelues minutieusement décrites (baignoire pour prendre les bains debout, bottes pour temps horizontal, etc.) Raymond Queneau cite cette œuvre dans un essai de 1971, De quelques langages animaux imaginaires et notamment du langage chien dans Sylvie et Bruno. Une traduction en français par Fanny Deleuze a paru aux Éditions du Seuil en 1972 avec une préface de Jean Gattégno qui fait référence à une étude de Gilles Deleuze dans sa Logique du sens (1969). Questo secondo intreccio è una favola con molti nonsense e poesie, simile ai libri di Alice, mentre la storia descritta nella Gran Bretagna vittoriana è un romanzo sociale, dove i personaggi discutono di vari concetti e aspetti della religione, della società, della filosofia e della morale.
