- Die 300 Startplätze für die Schießwettbewerbe bei den Olympischen Sommerspielen 2020 in Tokio sollten im Zeitraum vom 1. September 2018 bis 31. Mai 2020 vergeben werden. Wegen der COVID-19-Pandemie und der damit verbundenen Verschiebung der Spiele wurde der Zeitraum jedoch verlängert. Der japanischen Delegation steht in jedem Einzelwettbewerb ein Quotenplatz als Gastgebernation zu. Quotenplätze können bei den ISSF-Weltmeisterschaften 2018, der ISSF-Weltcup-Serie 2019 und bei kontinentalen Meisterschaften oder sonstigen Qualifikationsturnieren erkämpft werden. Die Quotenplätze werden den Nationalen Olympischen Komitees zugeteilt, diese dürfen die Plätze auch anderen Athleten zuweisen, sofern diese die Olympianorm (ON) erzielt haben. Eine Ausnahme stellt die Qualifikation über die ISSF-Weltrangliste dar, diese Quotenplätze werden direkt an die einzelnen Schützen vergeben und werden vom NOK nicht geändert werden. (de)
- This article details the qualifying phase for shooting at the 2020 Summer Olympics (which was postponed to at least 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic). 300 quota places for the Games are entitled to the shooters coming from their respective NOCs, based on the results at designated ISSF supervised Championships subjected to the ISSF rules from September 1, 2018, to June 6, 2021. Host nation Japan has been guaranteed twelve quota places with one in each of the individual events. Four quota places (top two teams per NOC) will be awarded to the shooters competing in each of the mixed team events (rifle, pistol, and trap), while the highest-ranked shooter, who has not qualified yet or whose NOC does not have a berth in any of the twelve individual events, will obtain a direct Olympic quota place through the World Rankings. The remaining twenty-four quota places are available to the eligible NOCs under the Tripartite Commission Invitation, with two in each of the individual event, to attain a maximum number of 360. Quota places can be obtained at the 2018 ISSF World Championships, the 2019 ISSF World Cup series, and the designated Continental Championships or Games during the qualifying period. Quota places are allocated only to the National Olympic Committees, with the exception of the ISSF world rankings, which are awarded directly to the individual shooters and may not be changed by the NOC. The NOC may assign a different shooter in each individual or mixed team event, provided that he or she has attained a minimum qualification score (MQS). (en)
- Este artigo detalha a fase de qualificação do tiro nos Jogos Olímpicos de Verão de 2020. (As Olimpíadas foram adiadas para 2021 devido à pandemia de COVID-19). As 360 vagas para os Jogos são entregues aos atiradores pelos seus respectivos CONs, baseado nos resultados de campeonatos designados supervisionados pela ISSF de 1 de setembro de 2018 a 6 de junho de 2021. O país-sede, Japão, recebeu doze vagas no total, uma em cada evento individual. Quatro vagas (as duas melhores equipes por CON) serão concedidas aos atiradores competindo em cada um dos eventos mistos (carabina, pistola e fossa olímpica), enquanto o atirador de maior ranking, que ainda não se qualificou ou cujo CON não tiver vaga em nenhum dos doze eventos individuais, receberá uma vaga direta olímpica pelo ranking mundial. As vinte e quatro vagas restantes estarão disponíveis aos CONs elegíveis pela Comissão Tripartite, com dois em cada evento individual, para chegar a um número máximo de 360. As vagas podem ser obtidas pelo , pela Série da Copa do Mundo da ISSF de 2019 e por Jogos ou Campeonatos Continentais designados durante o período de qualificação. As vagas são alocadas ao Comitê Olímpico Nacional, com exceção do ranking mundial da ISSF, que premia diretamente os atiradores individuais, sem possibilidade de mudança pelo CON.
