Shahr-e Naw (Dari: شهرنو), also spelled Share Naw, Share Now or Shari Naw, is a neighborhood in north-west Kabul, Afghanistan, mostly part of administrative District 4. It is a major downtown commercial area housing most of the big supermarkets of Kabul, along with foreign offices, hotels and banks. To its west lies the Salang Watt Road, and to its east is the Wazir Akbar Khan district. Its name translates to New City, which is taken as it was first built in the early 20th century as a 'new' urban extension north of the historic city of Kabul.
