- La rivière aux Canots Est est un affluent de la rivière aux Canots, coulant dans les territoires non organisés de Lac-Achouakan et de Lac-Moncouche, la municipalité régionale de comté (MRC) de Lac-Saint-Jean-Est, dans la région administrative de Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, dans la province de Québec, au Canada. Le cours de la rivière aux Canots Est traverse la réserve faunique des Laurentides. La vallée de la rivière aux Canots Est est desservie indirectement par la route 169. Cette vallée est aussi desservie par quelques routes forestières secondaires, surtout pour les besoins la foresterie et des activités récréotouristiques. La foresterie constitue la principale activité économique de cette vallée ; les activités récréotouristiques, en second. La surface de la rivière aux Canots Est est habituellement gelée du début de décembre à la fin mars, toutefois la circulation sécuritaire sur la glace se fait généralement de la mi-décembre à la mi-mars. - The Rivière aux Canots Est is a tributary of the Rivière aux Canots, flowing in the unorganized territories of Lac-Achouakan and Lac-Moncouche, the Lac-Saint-Jean-Est Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. The course of the Rivière aux Canots Est crosses the Laurentides Wildlife Reserve. The valley of the Rivière aux Canots Est is served indirectly by the route 169. This valley is also served by a few secondary forest roads, especially for forestry and recreational tourism activities. Forestry is the main economic activity in this valley; recreational tourism, second. The surface of the Rivière aux Canots Est is usually frozen from the beginning of December to the end of March, however the safe circulation on the ice is generally done from mid-December to mid-March.
