- "Push the Feeling On" is a house song by the Scottish music group Nightcrawlers and American DJ Marc Kinchen (MK). The original version released in 1992 was also partially disco and acid jazz-influenced and was a minor chart hit in the UK. The song was later remixed extensively by Marc Kinchen, creating a series of additional remixes for the song. One remix known as "Push the Feeling On (MK Dub Revisited Edit)" became an international chart hit in 1995, reaching the top 10 in various European countries, including the UK, where it peaked at number three. In the wake of its success, the band deleted the original version from their catalogue, reclassified the remix as the first single from their debut album, Lets Push It (1995) and changed their genre to house music. Despite the Nightcrawlers' Scottish origin, the song was actually less popular in Scotland than in the UK as a whole (and many worldwide markets), only peaking at number 11; mainly due to the more subtle and low-key style of the track, which differentiated it from the dance music popular in Scotland at the time such as bouncy techno. Le DJ britannique Riton reprend la chanson en 2021 avec son titre Friday, en collaboration avec Nightcrawlers. - Push the Feeling On is een nummer van de Schotse danceact Nightcrawlers, uitgebracht in 1992 en opnieuw in 1995. Het is de eerste single van hun debuutalbum Let's Push It. Bijzonder aan het nummer is dat het origineel nauwelijks bekend is. De versie die bekend werd is een remix van de Amerikaanse producer Marc Kinchen. Toen het nummer in 1992 werd uitgebracht, werd het nergens een hit. De plaat was echter voorzien van een remix van Marc Kinchen. Zijn The Dub of Doom-remix werd populair in het clubcircuit van het Verenigd Koninkrijk. De heruitgave uit 1995 is een radiovriendelijkere versie van deze remix. Deze werd in West- en Noord-Europa een grote danshit. In het Verenigd Koninkrijk haalde het nummer de 3e positie. In de Nederlandse Top 40 schopte het nummer het tot nummer 4, en in de Vlaamse Ultratop 50 wist het nummer de 7e positie te behalen. De plaat groeide uit tot een houseklassieker en werd nog in vele varianten opnieuw uitgebracht. Een van de bekendste voorbeelden werd de hit Hotel Room Service (2009) van rapper Pitbull.
